Mizzou's Statewide Outreach program continued on Monday with a trip to Northeast Missouri. University of Missouri Chancellor Brady Deaton and Vice Provost for Extension Michael Ouart highlighted the visit to Adair and Scotland Counties.

Joining Deaton and Ouart on the trip were Director of the Mizzou Alumni Association Todd McCubbin, Director of Athletics Mike Alden, the Voice of the Tigers Mike Kelly, Coordinator of Alumni Relations Ashley Moore, Executive Assistant to Chancellor Deaton Ann Oberhaus and Assistant Director of Athletics Media Relations Josh Murray.

The first stop of the day was a breakfast gathering at the Kirksville Country Club. After visiting the nearly 60 people that were on hand, Deaton and Ouart addressed a crowd and answered some questions.

After leaving Kirksville, the MU staffers traveled to Memphis, Mo. for a luncheon at Keith's Café, where a crowd of nearly 50 heard from Dr. Deaton and Dr. Ouart. The gathering was hosted by Dr. Harlo Donelson, who was honored by Dr. Deaton with a plaque for his longtime support of the University of Missouri.

The Statewide Outreach program will continue, with trips planned for the coming months.
