Mizzou Basketball Announces Time Change For Nov. 3 Exhibition-Opener

Columbia, Mo. - Head Coach Mike Anderson and the Mizzou Men's Basketball program announced that their Nov. 3 exhibition-opener against the University of Missouri-St. Louis has been moved to 3 p.m. to allow Tiger fans to watch the 5:30 p.m. gridiron showdown between their No. 13-ranked football team and the Colorado Buffaloes from live from Boulder, Colo.

Mizzou's exhibition-opener was originally scheduled for 7 p.m. inside Mizzou Arena.

Thanks to Missouri's partnership with Learfield Communications and Fox Sports Midwest, the exhibition-opener will remain televised live on the Mizzou Sports Network and will be carried regionally on Fox Sports Midwest, in Kansas City on Metro Sports and on KZOU in Mid-Missouri. The Tiger football contest at Colorado will follow the football game on Fox Midwest making it true a Mizzou double-header on the network.

"I would like to thank everyone that had a hand in making this happen and we are glad we could keep this game on television," Head Coach Mike Anderson said. "We are all looking forward to what should be an exciting day of Mizzou athletics, first here at Mizzou Arena and then with the football game later that afternoon."

For Tiger fans anxiously awaiting an earlier look at their 2007-08 squad, the annual Black & Gold Game is scheduled for Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.. Admission to the Black & Gold Game is just $5 and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Coaches vs. Cancer and the Boys & Girls Club of Mid-Missouri. Doors to the Black & Gold Game open at 6 p.m. and members of the 2007-08 squad will be available to sign autographs as fans enter the building.
