Oct. 22, 2007
DALLAS - The Big 12 Conference, in coordination with its television partners, has made several selections for next Saturday's games. Of interest to Tiger fans is the notice that FSN will cablecast the Mizzou game at Colorado at 5:30 p.m. CT (4:30 p.m. MT in Boulder).
In an effort to provide maximum exposure for the league on ABC, the network has utilized the second of its three six-day pick opportunities for games of November 3, 2007. ABC is holding two games in the mix but has not determined how many telecast windows in which it will feature the Big 12. ABC has both a 2:30 p.m., and a 7 p.m., CT window on the 3rd and is holding both Texas at Oklahoma State and Texas A&M at Oklahoma for potential telecast in either one or both of those windows. If ABC utilizes only one window, the second game will be televised by FSN at 11:30 a.m., CT.
Confirmed Selections for November 3, 2007
FSN - Nebraska at Kansas, 11:30 p.m., CT
VERSUS - Kansas State at Iowa State, 11:30 a.m., CT
FSN - Missouri at Colorado, 5:30 p.m., CT
If ABC televises Big 12 games at both 2:30 and 7 p.m., CT then only the Nebraska at Kansas game will be televised at 11:30 a.m., CT on FSN. If ABC televises only one game (regardless of whether it is at 2:30 or 7 p.m.), then FSN will split the country and televise both the Nebraska at Kansas game and the game ABC does not select between UT/OSU and AM/OU in the 11:30 a.m., CT window.
The Tigers host Iowa State this Saturday, Oct. 27, in a 1 p.m. kickoff that will not be televised. Tickets remain for the game; fans are encouraged to call 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS in mid-Missouri) and wear gold to the game on Saturday! Official festivities begin at 10:45 a.m. with Tiger Walk on the Southwest side of Memorial Stadium.
