Columbia, Mo. - Due to heavy rain and thunderstorms in Mid-Missouri, the First Annual Mizzou Soccer Golf Tournament has been postponed to the spring.
The rain started early Saturday morning, and by 11 a.m. there was already four-tenths of an inch of rain in gauges around the city. Thunder and lightning was also observed.

The game against Oklahoma State is still scheduled for Sunday, as the rain is expected to end this afternoon or evening, giving way to mostly cloudy skies and warmer temperatures. The National Weather Service is predicting a high of 81 degrees.
