ZIONSVILLE, Ind. - - The Missouri men's golf team finish in 12th place at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate with a three-round total of 901. After rounds of 304 and 293 on Saturday in day one of the tournament, the Tigers carded a final round 304 on Sunday.
Missouri finished five shots out of 10th place. Penn State won the tournament with an 862 score after three rounds.
Junior Peter Malnati led Mizzou, finishing in a tie for 24th place with a 54-hole total of 222. He was three shots better than sophomore Bud Reynolds, who finished tied for 37th place. Freshman William Harrold tied for 54th place, while freshmen Michael Gardner (234) and Tyler Hillis (235) placed in 67th and 68th place respectively.
Next up for the Tigers is the Windon Memorial Classic in Glencoe, Ill. on Oct. 7-8.
