Quarterback Club Pep Rally to be Held Wednesday

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- - With the start of the Mizzou football season just days away, the Tiger Quarterback Club of Columbia is helping Tiger fans get ready for the upcoming campaign with its annual pep rally Wednesday at Memorial Stadium.

Mizzou Head Coach Gary Pinkel will address the crowd and the Tiger captains will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs.

The gates open at 6:30 p.m. with a performance by Marching Mizzou, the and there will be plenty of games and activities for kids, including face painting, clowns, a bounce house and a magic show. The Tiger Team Store will be open, as will concession stands.

Mizzou will kickoff the season on Saturday with the Arch Rivalry game against Illinois at 2:30 p.m. at the Edwards Jones Dome in St. Louis.
