The University of Missouri football team has been ranked 18th by Street & Smith's College Football 2007 Yearbook preseason magazine, which hits newsstands on June 26, as announced today by magazine officials.  Mizzou is coming off an 8-5 season, and returns 14 starters from a team that reached the 2006 Sun Bowl and ranked eighth in the nation in total offense.

 

In addition to the team accolade, Street & Smith's has named Mizzou's senior tight end Martin Rucker (St. Joseph, Mo.) as a pre-season Division I-A first-team All-American.  Joining Rucker on the magazine's All-Big 12 Conference first team are fellow offensive teammates Chase Coffman (Junior, Tight End, Peculiar, Mo.) and Tyler Luellen (Senior, Offensive Lineman, Bethany, Mo.).
