Columbia, Mo. -The Missouri softball team (38-22) will open NCAA Regional Tournament action Friday, May 18, a 4:30 p.m. (CT) against Southern Illinois (40-13) in Carbondale, Ill. Game times for Saturday and Sunday have yet to be finalized.

Despite playing on Southern Illinois' home field, Charlotte West Stadium, it's the 18th-ranked Tigers that will serve as the home team. DePaul, seeded 14th nationally, received the No. 1 seed in the Carbondale bracket, with Missouri seeded No. 2, Southern Illinois, No. 3 and Mississippi Valley State, No. 4.

Ticket pricing and information is still being determined and will be released as soon as it's made available.
