COLUMBIA, Mo. - A total of 73 University of Missouri student-athletes will participate in graduation ceremonies this weekend as part of the University's 163rd commencement exercises. Ceremonies will take place throughout campus beginning Friday evening and continuing through Sunday afternoon.

Several student-athletes will miss the weekend's festivities because they are competing at their respective Big 12 Conference Championships. The track and field team is in Lincoln, Neb., for the Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championships and the softball squad is in Oklahoma City, Okla., for the Big 12 Tournament.

Additionally, Mizzou student-athletes were recognized for their academic pursuits at the 2007 Student-Athlete Academic Awards Breakfast on April 18, with several taking home awards.
