Due to the forecast of inclement weather, this week's baseball series between Mizzou and Kansas State in Manhattan, Kan. has been pushed back to a Friday-Sunday series. Originally scheduled for Thursday-Saturday, the three-game set will now get underway at 3 p.m. on Friday. The series will continue with games at 2 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The schedule change was made because of weather forecasts calling for inclement weather and cold temperatures in Manhattan on Thursday. Big 12 Conference rules specify that the series dates can not change once a team has left its campus for a weekend series, which is the reason for adjusting the schedule prior to Mizzou's departure from Columbia.
Missouri is 22-8 on the year and 4-2 in the Big 12 Conference, while Kansas State will bring a 21-8 record and a 3-3 conference mark into the weekend. All three games of the series can be heard on KTGR 1580-AM and online at KTGR.com.
