Mizzou Finishes Eighth at U.S. Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif. - - The Mizzou men's golf team finished eighth at the U.S. Intercollegiate in Stanford, Calif. this weekend. The Tigers had rounds of 295, 282 and 296 for a 54-hole total of 873.

Sophomore Peter Malnati led MU with a 213 three-round score, finishing in a tie for 12th place. Senior Shawn Jasper finished tied for 30th spot with a 218 score, while fellow senior John Kelly placed in a tie fore 41st with a 221 score. Kelly's tournament included a career best round of 65 in the second round.

Junior Beau Crawford had a 54-hole score of 223, placing in a tie for 48th and redshirt freshman Bud Reynolds had a 230 total and finished in a tie for 68th place.

The Tigers will next play in the Big 12 Championships April 23-24 in Hutchinson, Kan.
