STEVINSON, Calif. - - The Mizzou men's golf team finished in seventh place, just one shot out of a tie for third, at the Stevinson Ranch Invitational after carding a final round 315 on Tuesday. The Tigers finished with a final three-round total of 911.
Illinois State, Kansas, Akron and UC-Davis all finished on shot ahead of Mizzou, in a four-way tie for third place.
Seniors Shawn Jasper and John Kelly led the way for the Tigers, as each carded rounds of 76 on Tuesday. Jasper finished in a tie for 15th place with a three-round total of 225, while Kelly finished tied for 23rd spot with a 227 total.
Sophomore Ryne Fisher finished in 29th place, sophomore Peter Malnati was among those tied for 30th place and redshirt freshman Bud Reynolds placed 66th.
