The Missouri softball team will take on Louisville in a Wednesday afternoon doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. (CT) at Ulmer Stadium. Originally slated to play one game Tuesday and a single game Wednesday, the Tigers were forced to reschedule the series with the Cardinals after rain delays in Lubbock, Texas created the postponement and eventual cancellation of Sunday's game against Texas Tech.

Currently 23-17 on the season, the Tigers are down 6-2 in the all-time series with the Cardinals. Louisville enters the Wednesday doubleheader with a 16-13 mark and is coming off of a 3-1 performance at the Women 4 Women Softball Invitational held in their home facility.

Louisville is 6-2 at Ulmer Stadium having lost games Iowa and Eastern Michigan earlier in the campaign.

Wednesday's doubleheader marks Missouri's final non-conference series of the campaign.
