Spring Tiger Caravan Events Finalized

The University of Missouri Department of Athletics has finalized plans for its annual Spring Caravan events, and invites MU alumni, fans and friends to meet Tiger coaches and administrators at each of its three stops in April.

The three tour stops in 2007 include Hannibal (April 24th), Mendon (April 25th) and Cape Girardeau (April 30th).

The Hannibal event on April 24th will take place at the Hannibal Country Club, with a social hour beginning at 6 p.m., followed by a dinner and program beginning at 6:45 p.m.  The cost is $10 per person, and includes dinner and door prizes.

Scheduled to appear in Hannibal include Football Coach Gary Pinkel, Men's Basketball Coach Mike Anderson, Wrestling Coach Brian Smith and Women's Basketball Coach Cindy Stein, among others.  The event will be emceed by Mike Kelly, known as the Voice of the Tigers.  For more information, please contact Matt Lyons at 573-882-0704.

The Caravan moves to Mendon the next day, and will be on hand that evening at Northwestern High School.  Social hour begins at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and program at 6:45.  The cost for the event is $12.50 per person and includes a famous smoked pork chop dinner and door prizes.

Wrapping up the tour on April 30th, the Caravan will migrate to Cape Girardeau for the final of three spring stops.  The event will be held at the Drury Lodge, and the cost for the event is $10 per person, and includes dinner and door prizes.
