On Third Place Finisher Matt Pell (165-Pounds) "He just stuck with the game plan all season long. I knew he was a great wrestler, he scored nine bonus points for us over the last two days, and I think he sealed the deal for us to be on the stage."

"I kept saying that bonus points are what wins in this tournament, and that's what he got for us. It was a great way for him to go out."

On Placing Third "Right now it is a great feeling, to be able to prove to myself that I am better than [my seed]."

On Pinning Four Opponents "That move that I have been using, I use it a lot in practice but I've never used it in a match, and coach is always been asking me when I am going to use it, and I always tell him that I'm saving it for a rainy day. I guess today was that rainy day."

On Getting One last Chance "I just picked myself up and was lucky enough to get a chance to compete here and end my season on a good note. It was the best tournament that I have ever wrestled."
