Box Score

MILLINGTON, Tenn.-- - Missouri sophomore pitcher Aaron Crow stuck out a career-high eight in seven scoreless innings of work on the mound, however the Tiger bullpen allowed five runs in the eighth inning as Memphis took a 5-1 win over Mizzou on Sunday in the final game of the Service Academy Classic in Millington, Tenn.

The Tigers (6-5) managed just one hit through the first 7.2 innings before junior Brock Bond delivered a two-out double to drive in a run to break a scoreless tie.

The MU lead would be short-lived as Memphis scored five runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, four of which were unearned runs as a Tiger error allowed the inning to continue.

Mizzou did not have more than one baserunner prior to the eighth inning and finished the game with only two hits against Memphis.

The Tigers will host Youngstown State in the Tigers' home opener at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at Taylor Stadium. That game will be the first of a three-game series with games scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.
