ORLANDO, Fla. - - The Mizzou men's golf team maintained its 14th place spot it held after two rounds of play, by turning in a final round of 297 at the Rio Pinar Intercollegiate in Orlando, Fla. The Tigers finished with a 54-hole score of 895.
Tennessee-Chattanooga won the tournament with a final total of 862, one shot ahead of Tulsa.
Redshirt freshman Bud Reynolds led the way for Missouri, finishing in a tie for 33rd spot with a three-round total of 222 (74-76-72). Seniors John Kelly and Shawn Jasper finished the tournament in a tie for 59th place with a final tournament score of 226. Sophomore Peter Malnati carded the best round of the day for the Tigers with a 71 and finished in a tie for 72nd place, along with sophomore Ryne Fisher with three-round totals of 229.
Mizzou will next play in the Mission Inn Collegiate in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. March 10-11.
