Redshirt freshman Bud Reynolds turned in rounds of 74 and 72 to lead Mizzou men's golf in the first day of play at the Rio Pinar Intercollegiate in Orlando, Fla. The Tigers carded rounds of 296 and 302 for a total of 598 and are in 14th place after 36 holes.
Reynolds' 146 score after the first two rounds places him in a tie for 20th place. The second round 72 is a career best round for Reynolds.
Senior Shawn Jasper (72-78) and sophomore Ryne Fisher (73-77) are in a group tied for 53rd place with two-round totals of 150.
Senior John Kelly is tied for 64th place with a 36-hole score of 152 (77-75) and sophomore Peter Malnati is tied for 89th spot after shooting a pair of 89s on Monday.
Tulsa leads in the team standings with a 572 score after two rounds of play, three shots ahead of Tennessee-Chattanooga.
The final round of the Rio Pinal Intercollegiate will be played on Tuesday.
