- Missouri is now 9-2 all-time in Big 12 home-openers and both losses have come at the hands of Iowa State, with the last one occurring on Jan. 4, 1997.
- Missouri's played in front of a season high 10,142 fans.
- For the fourth consecutive game, Missouri started a line-up of Stefhon Hannah, Jason Horton and Matt Lawrence at guard and Marshall Brown and Leo Lyons at forward.
- Missouri's overall homecourt winning streak ended at 12 games. The last time Mizzou won 12 consecutive home games was in the 2000-01 season.
- Marshall Brown had a tremendous second half as he scored 15 points, had 3 rebounds and 2 steals. Brown nearly missed his scoring his highest point total in a half when he had 16 points in the opening period vs. Coppin State on Nov. 27. Brown finished with 19 points.
- Stefhon Hannah finished the contest with 17 points. Hannah has scored in double-digits in 13 of Missouri's 14 games.
- The Tigers were again outstanding at forcing turnovers and forced Iowa State into committing 20 turnovers.
- The Tigers finished the game with 12 steals. Mizzou has topped double figures in steals ten times this season. Last year the Tigers topped double figures in steals just three times.
- Missouri forced turnovers of all kinds against Iowa State, forcing a ten-second call, a five-second call on the inbounds, and a five-second call on the floor.
- Matt Lawrence finished the game 2-of-5 from beyond the arc. Over his last three games, Lawrence is 13-of-20 from three-point range. That's a shooting percentage of 65.
