Head Coach Mike Anderson is now 1-0 all-time against Head Coach Bob Knight.

Missouri now leads the overall series against Texas Tech 8-7 and snapped a three game losing streak to the Red Raiders.

The win against Texas Tech was Mizzou's first home conference win of the season. The Tigers improved to 2-4 in Big 12 play.

Missouri achieved its 13th win of the season, one more than the Tigers had all season last year.

Team Notes...

Mizzou opened the second half with a 10-0 run and held Texas Tech scoreless for 9 minutes and 37 seconds.

During the run, Mizzou forced five turnovers and extended their six-point halftime lead to 16, at 51-35.

Texas Tech's first field-goal of the second half came at the 10:23 mark. Texas Tech had previously been 0-10 to begin the half.

Missouri held Texas Tech to 8-29 shooting in the second half, a 27.6%. Texas Tech finished the game shooting 39.2%.

Missouri held Texas Tech to its second lowest point total of the season...the low for Texas Tech is 53 points in a loss to Air Force on 11/21/06.

Mizzou's 13 point win over the Red Raiders was Texas Tech's third worst loss of the season.

The Tigers outrebounded Texas Tech 34-29 and is now 8-1 on the season when outrebounding opponents and was the second time in conference play where Mizzou outrebounded an opponent, with the other being at Kansas.

Missouri only committed 14 turnovers and forced 9 steals.

Missouri shot 55.2% in the first half, their highest in Big 12 Conference play and the fourth highest percentage in the first half this season for the Tigers.

Missouri played in front of a sellout crowd of 15,061, the first sellout of the season.

Player Notes

Stefhon Hannah continues his outstanding play, finishing with 15 points on 6-12 shooting, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.

Marshall Brown finished with 11 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block.

Kalen Grimes had 8 points and 5 rebounds in only 12 minutes of play and was 4-4 from the field.

Leo Lyons was also 4-4 from the field and finished with 11 points and 3 blocks which ties a career high which he set against Coppin State on 11/27/06 and against Mississippi St. on 1/2/07.
