Mizzou Basketball Announces Third Sellout Of Season, Feb. 3 vs. Nebraska

Jan. 26, 2007

Columbia, Mo. - Mizzou Basketball enjoyed a pair of sellouts through its first two seasons at Mizzou Arena, the March 6, 2005, win over Kansas and last season's thrilling 89-86 win over the Jayhawks. The 2006-07 Tigers wasted little time surpassing that total when University of Missouri officials announced that the Feb. 3 contest against Nebraska is officially sold out.

The game vs. the Cornhuskers marks Missouri's third sellout of the season, joining the Jan. 27 contest against Texas Tech and the Feb. 10 contest against Kansas. The three sellouts for Tiger Hoops are the most at Mizzou since the 2003-04 season at the Hearnes Center.

Although Mizzou's next three contests are sold out, tickets remain for mid-week games against Baylor (Feb. 14), Oklahoma (Feb. 20) and Colorado (Feb. 28).

Head Coach Mike Anderson and the Tigers return to action on Jan. 27 against Bob Knight and the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Mizzou is 12-6 on the season after picking up a 79-65 win at Colorado on Jan. 24. Although the game is sold out, fans can watch the contest in Mid-Missouri on KMIZ, in Kansas City on KMCI, in St. Louis on WRBU and in Springfield on KWBM. The game will also be aired live by the Tiger Radio Network with Mike Kelly and Gary Link calling the action.
