LUBBOCK, Texas - EeTisha Riddle posted her third-consecutive double-double and Alyssa Hollins made a career-high six 3-pointers but Missouri fell at Texas Tech, 63-55, at United Spirit Arena Wednesday night.

Missouri (13-5, 1-4 Big 12) shot just 33 percent and never seemed to be able to overcome a slow start after a day filled with travel delays that didn't see the Tigers arrive in Lubbock until three-and-a-half hours prior to tip-off.

The Tigers trailed by as many as 18 in the first half but cut the deficit to 30-25 at the break. MU got the Tech lead down to 32-30 early in the second half and trailed 58-55 on a Kassie Drew bucket with 97 seconds left but couldn't get the big shot late.

Hollins led all players with 20 points before fouling out with 46 seconds left. Riddle had 12 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals. Carlynn Savant had nine points and four rebounds.

Texas Tech's Chesley Dabbs finished with 20 points and made five free throws down the stretch to account for the final margin. Texas Tech (11-7, 2-2 Big 12) shot 41 percent and out-rebounded Mizzou by 16.

Already leading 8-4 3:30 into the first half, Tech went on a 10-0 run and led 25-7 with 9:36 left in the half. Then the Missouri offense started clicking. The Tigers made four 3-pointers and cut the deficit to 25-22 with just over three minutes on the clock.

Tech got a layup before the teams traded triples to go into the locker room with Tech holding a slim 30-25 advantage.

Mizzou shot just 31 percent but Tech was not a lot better at 37 percent. The Lady Raiders did control the boards with a 26-16 edge.

Hollins led the Tigers with 12 points as she made three 3-pointers. Riddle had four points and eight rebounds. Dabbs scored 12 of Tech's first 20 points to lead the Lady Raiders in the period.

Missouri will return to action on Saturday when it plays host to Nebraska. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. CT and the game will be televised throughout Missouri via the Mizzou Sports Network.
