Mizzou Basketball Announces Sellouts For Texas Tech, Kansas Games

Jan. 16, 2007

Columbia, Mo. - When the Mizzou Men's Basketball team returns home from its current two-game road swing against Kansas and Colorado (Jan. 24), it will do so in front of a sold out Mizzou Arena crowd. The University of Missouri Department of Athletics announced on Tuesday that the Tigers' Jan. 27 date with Texas Tech and their annual Border Showdown with Kansas on Feb. 10 are now officially sold out.

With the sellouts, Mizzou Basketball has limited tickets available for just four remaining home games. Fans can still purchase tickets for February contests against Nebraska (Feb. 3), Baylor (Feb. 14), Oklahoma (Feb. 20) and Colorado (Feb. 28), however the Feb. 3 contest with Nebraska is the lone available weekend home date.

Mizzou Basketball returns to action on Jan. 24 when the Tigers travel to Boulder, Colo., to face the Colorado Buffalos. The 8 p.m. tip will be carried live in Missouri on the Mizzou Sports Network. KOMU will broadcast the game in Mid-Missouri, while Metro Sports will carry the game in Kansas City and FSN Midwest will air the contest in St. Louis.
