On Kansas State Rebound Margin "I thought we did a go job limiting their second shots. In the second half it seemed like they made all of them so there were not very many rebounds."

"Well when you throw it out of bounds like we do, you need to rebound, and we did that today."

Oh Lance Harris and Cartier Martin "Lance and Cartier have more experience than many of our players combined, so they are supposed to step up."

On preparation "You do have to prepare for every game, we had three really good days of practice, Tuesday we didn't practice well, but Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we did a much better job."

On teams overall performance "I want to make sure to apologize to our fans as a basketball team, we just didn't get the job done."

On K-State's physical play "I thought they were much more physical than we were, and that was evident by the rebounding at the halftime, so they kind of took the fight out of our guys."

On late game events "It was a game of almosts, we almost had that loose ball and we almost had that rebound and late in the game (Kansas State) came up with it."

On K-State free throws "When you go out there and shoot 30 or 40 free throws, that's a lot of free throws, and they made them. Cartier (Martin) stepped up and hit big free throws for them down the stretch."

On intensity in the second half "I thought our guys were going to pull it off, you could see it in their eyes, I thought they were ready to take it to the next level."
