Today's game was the fourth ever meeting between Kansas State coach Bob Huggins and Mizzou's Mike Anderson, Huggins now leads the series, 3 to 1.

With the win, Kansas State improves to 1-2 in Big 12 Conference play, Mizzou falls to 0-3.

Mizzou forced 24 Kansas State Turnovers, including eight K-State turnovers in the first eight minutes of play, and 15 in the first half; Mizzou scored 24 points off of those 24 turnovers.

Kansas State held Mizzou to 6-19 (31.6%) shooting from 3-point territory, including 0-7 from 3 in first half.

Despite playing only six minutes in the first half, Marshall Brown, the Big 12's No. 4 scorer, led Mizzou in scoring with 28 points, surpassing his 21.5 ppg average in Big 12 play.

Brown was also 8-8 from the free throw line

The Wildcats held Mizzou's leading scorer, Stefhon Hannah, to seven points, his lowest total of the season, his previous season low was eight points versus Stetson on 11/12/06.

On Monday, Mizzou will travel to Lawrence, Kan., to face the Kansas Jayhawks. A win in Lawrence would give Mizzou 12 wins, matching last year's win total.
