The University of Missouri women's tennis team continued the ITA Central Championships Friday. Tiger senior Amanda Pratzel lost her match in the round of 32.
Pratzel lost her match to Wichita State's Stephanie Dalmacio, 6-4, 6-0. She was the only Tiger to advance to the second round of the main draw.
In consolation action, Tigers Raquel Wagner, Charlotte Bellis, Chrissy Svetlic and Erika Josbena did not advance past the round of 32.
In doubles play late Thursday night, MU's Katelyn McKenzie and Wagner defeated Oklahoma State's Simmons and Tkachenko. The duo then lost to Kansas State's top doubles team, Kudlackova and Yrureta, in the second round. Tiger duos Josbena and Pratzel and Svetlic and Bellis had byes in the first round and lost their second round matches.
The Tigers have now completed their official fall schedule. Their next home event is the Mizzou Tiger Pro-Am, Nov. 4 at the Green Tennis Center.
