Mizzou Women's Connection (MWC), in conjunction with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, will host a wine tasting social on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at Village Wine and Cheese (929 E. Broadway) from 6-8 p.m. The event is for MWC members and Komen foundation supporters.

The event is an opportunity to join the MWC and support the Komen Foundation. All proceeds will go to the Komen Foundation. The program will feature Dawn McGhee of the Mid-Missouri Komen Foundation, Mizzou Assistant Director of Athletics Mitzi Clayton and MU Women's Basketball Head Coach Cindy Stein.

Village Wine and Cheese and Bommarito Distributing will be providing wine for tasting, including Big Tattoo wine. Proceeds from the sale of this wine during the month of October will go to support Breast Cancer Research.
