Women's Tennis to Compete in Kansas State Invitational

Columbia, Mo. - The University of Missouri women's tennis team begins play at the Kansas State Invitational Friday, Sept. 29 in Manhattan, Kan. The Tigers will join three other teams, Arkansas, Tulsa and host Kansas State at the tournament, which runs until Sunday.

The Tigers are coming off a successful Gopher Invitational, as the duo of Amanda Pratzel and Erika Josbena won their second tournament of the fall. Their record is 8-0 going into the Kansas State Invitational. Transfer Raquel Wagner also had a productive tournament. She won the Minnesota Singles Flight Championship.

After the Kansas State Invitational, the Tigers will return home and return to the practice courts to prepare for the Mizzou Invitational, Oct. 13-15 at the Green Tennis Center in Columbia.
