The Missouri Men's Golf Team finished in a tie for fourth at the 21st Annual Louisiana Classics at the Oakbourne Country Club in Lafayette, La. The Tigers carded a final round 290 for a three-round total of 860 to finish in a tie with SMU for fourth place. Houston won the tournament with an 846 total. The Tigers finished two shots behind Memphis for third place.
Senior Ben Scott had another top 10 finish, tying for 10th with a 54-hole score of 214 (71-70-73) which was 2-under par. A pair of Tigers were one shot behind Scott, tying for 17th spot. Senior Chris Mabry (70-72-73) and freshman Peter Malnati (69-73-73) each had three-round totals of 1-under par 215.
Junior Tyler Dunn finished tied for 32nd place with a 219 (72-70-77) score and junior Shawn Jasper's 223 (76-73-74) 54-hole total placed him in a tie for 55th spot.
Next up for Missouri is the Stevinson Ranch Invitational in Stevinson, Calif. On March 27-28.
