IOWA CITY, Iowa - The No. 12 Missouri gymnastics team defeated the No. 34 Iowa Hawkeyes 192.600-190.800 in the second to last regular season meet of the season on Saturday night in Iowa City, Iowa. With the victory, the Tigers improve to 12-8 on the season. Freshman Adrianne Perry won the seventh all-around title of the season and the beam and floor titles.

The Tigers entered the meet as the ninth ranked bars team in the nation but kicked off the meet with only a 48.475 on the event. Senior Jodie Heinicka, the country's fourth-best bars worker, paced the Tigers with a 9.800 to nab her ninth bars title of the season. Freshman Alicia Hatcher finished in second with a 9.775 while senior Sarah Zigler scored a 9.750 to take third.

Mizzou moved to vault in the second rotation and recorded a 48.500, led by a second place finish by Heinicka, who notched a 9.775. Perry grabbed third after scoring a 9.750 and Zigler had a 9.700 to tie for fifth place.

Perry claimed her third floor title of the season with a 9.850 as the Tigers scored a 47.125 on the event. Concluding the night on its strongest event, the nation's top ranked beam team notched a 48.500. Perry picked up her third event title of the night and second beam title of the season with a 9.775 while sophomore Julie Abaray finished in second with a 9.725. Hatcher and sophomore Katie Kluga both tied for third with a 9.700.

The Tigers close out the regular season with when they host SEMO on Friday, March 17 at 7 p.m. in the Hearnes Center on Senior Night. During the meet, Missouri will honor this year's three seniors, Jodie Heinicka, Lauren Schwartzman and Sarah Zigler, for their contributions to the Tiger program. Mizzou then travels to Lincoln, Neb., for the 2006 Big 12 Conference Championships on March 25 at 6 p.m. in the Devaney Sports Center.
