Columbia, Mo. - The 2005-06 season marks the 100th year of men's basketball at the University of Missouri. Mizzou Basketball fans can help celebrate the centennial anniversary by casting their votes for its All-Century Team.
Thirty greats will be included on the All-Century team in all, with 20 of those spots going automatically to MU's 20 former All-American honorees. Fans can select the remaining 10 spots on the team by voting for their favorite Tigers listed on the ballot, with write-in candidates being accepted, as well.
Voting runs through Dec. 31, 2005, and ballots can be obtained by visiting the official website of Mizzou Athletics, at www.mutigers.com. Fans can also obtain ballots at any First National Bank location in Columbia, and also at displays in the concourse of Mizzou Arena. Completed ballots can be dropped off at any FNB location, at the Mizzou Arena displays, or can be submitted by mail by sending to: Mizzou Athletic Media Relations, ATTN: All-Century Voting, P.O.
