Columbia, Mo. -- - University of Missouri men's basketball coach Quin Snyder and the St. Louis Tiger Club will host its annual Mizzou Men's Basketball Luncheon, on Tuesday, Oct. 11 in the Ambassador Ballroom of the Frontenac Hilton in St. Louis, Mo.

This year's event, which will be emceed by Mizzou basketball color analyst Gary Link, is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. with a reception. The luncheon is slated to get underway at noon.

Admission to the Mizzou Men's Basketball Luncheon is $20 per person and reserved tables (seating for 10) can be purchased for $200. For more information or to reserve a space at the Frontenac Hilton, contact Robin Wenneker at wennekerr@aol.com. Reservations are required.

While preseason workouts and conditioning are well underway, the Tigers officially open the 2005-06 season on Friday, Oct. 14 with their first practice. Coach Snyder and selected players will then travel to Dallas for Big 12 Conference Media Day on Oct. 19, before hosting the annual Black & Gold Game at Mizzou Arena on Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. Admission to the Black & Gold Game is free.
