Members of the Sigma Nu fraternity will run a football from Columbia to Lawrence, Kan. this week in conjunction with the Mizzou vs. Kansas football game on Saturday. The run will be a fundraiser for the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

The event will start with a short ceremony at 5 p.m. on Thursday next to the Don Faurot statute at the north end of Memorial Stadium. At the conclusion of the ceremony a runner will take the ball and begin the run to Lawrence.

Scheduled speakers for the ceremony include Jacob Griesnauer of Sigma Nu, Jennifer Venneman of St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Lauren Farell of Greek Life.

The Tigers and Jayhawks will kickoff at Noon on Saturday in Lawrence.
