Tiger Fans Raise over $22,000 for Hurricane Relief

Sept. 12, 2005

Columbia, Mo. - University of Missouri football fans graciously helped raise over $22,000 at last Saturday's home football game against New Mexico, with the money going to aid victims impacted by the recent hurricane in the Gulf Coast area.

Several Tiger student-athletes from various sports collected donations around the stadium Saturday, and their efforts were met with great enthusiasm and support.

Mizzou Athletics wishes to thank each and every one of its fans who helped contribute to this effort.
