Tiger Advances to NCAA Individual Championship Final

Auburn, Ga. - Setting herself further apart as the Tiger's most decorated gymnast in history, senior Alisha Robinson earned her second career All-America accolade following a third-place finish on vault at the 2005 NCAA Championship.

Scoring a 9.900, Robinson set a new Mizzou NCAA Championship record on the event besting her own 9.875 mark established in 2002. Bringing down the Missouri floor and all-around records as well, Robinson scored a 39.150 to finish 15th in the all-around and delivered a 9.850 floor routine for a 14th-place finish on floor.

Advancing to the NCAA Championship Individual Finals, Robinson will contend for the NCAA individual vault title on Saturday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. Attending the NCAA Championship as an individual all-around competitor, this marks the first time the senior has advanced to the Individual Finals in her career.
