When the Missouri baseball team opens its 2005 home schedule on March 4 against Eastern Michigan, it will have a new outfield. Over the offseason, the outfield of Taylor Stadium was renovated and a new and improved playing surface is now in place.
Workers removed the old grass, installed a new drainage systen, re-graded the terrain and last week finished laying the new grass surface.

The Tigers host Eastern Michigan for a three-game series starting at 6:30 p.m. on March 4. That will kick off a 10-game homestand for Mizzou.
