The Missouri Baseball team will have a new playing surface when it returns to Taylor Stadium at Simmons Field this spring, as the outfield is currently undergoing a renovation.

Workers have removed the old grass, installed a new drainage system, re-graded the terrain and will soon be laying the new grass surface.

The Tigers will open up the 2005 home season on March 4.
