Missouri Softball Head Coach Ty Singleton announced today that the Tigers will host the 2005 Winter TigerBall Softball Clinic, Saturday, Jan. 8, from 1-5 p.m. in the Devine Pavillion.

The clinic will be open to students ages 11-21 with all skill levels accepted. Registration is $60 with a $10 discount provided for sisters and teams of nine or more teammates. Registration will begin promptly at noon.

This fast-paced, hands on, half-day skills clinic will allow students to learn and perform the same softball practice drills used by the Mizzou Tigers in their daily preparation for Big 12 competition.

Led by Head Coach Ty Singleton and his staff and players, the TigerBall drills will improve students' hitting, bunting, defense and baserunning. Although designed for ages 11-21, this format is an excellent showcase for college prospects.
