Q & A with Kim Hibbert

Q. What is it like to play in the competitive Big 12 Conference?
A. It is exciting, because each game is a battle and the results are impossible to predict.

Q. What has been different about this season as compared to last year?
A. A lot is different about this year. The biggest difference is the chemistry, which always changes when a new class that comes in. We have a large senior class and a large freshmen class.

Q. Last year the team played very well in the postseason. What does the team need to do to have another successful postseason?
A. I think we are on the right track to do well in the postseason. We have a do-or-die mentality now, because any game could be our last.

Q. What do you believe has been your greatest strength as a player during your time at Mizzou?
A. My strong mentality and attitude have definitely been my greatest assets these last four years.

Q. What have you improved the most about your game since coming to Mizzou?
A. I think I have more of a defensive presence then I did when I first came here.

Q. Looking back on the last four years, what is your favorite memory as a Missouri Tiger?
A. My favorite memory is of one day in the weight room with Mallory. Erica was about to reach a personal record, and the rest of the story is better left unsaid.

Q. Describe what it's like to handle the responsibility of being both a student and an athlete?
A. Sometimes it gets very stressful, but you just have to learn to manage your time and operate on very little sleep.

Q. What are your plans after graduation?
A. I will graduate with my marketing degree in Dec. 2005, and then I will start Dental Hygienist school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City the following summer.
