Columbia, MO - The No. 10 University of Missouri Women's Golf squad wraps up the fall portion of its schedule this week when it travels to the Las Vegas Collegiate Shootout. Mizzou is in search of its fifth consecutive top four finish this fall and its seventh top five finish in ten tournaments played dating back to last spring.
Sophomore Kelli Strubinger enters the tournament on a roll after shooting two-under par 70 in the final round of the Lady Razorback Invitational to finish in a tie for fifth two weeks ago. The Tigers are also looking for big things from senior Maria Ohlsson, who finished second at last year's tournament by two strokes, firing a Mizzou school record one-under 215 for the tournament.
Among the four ranked squads competing this week will be No. 3 Washington, No. 10 Missouri, No. 18 Stanford and No. 25 USC. Among the top individuals are Paige MacKenzie and Kim Shin of Washington and Ohlsson. MacKenzie and Shin are ranked 13th and 17th individually in the nation according to Golfweek while Ohlsson is No. 15.
