COLUMBIA, Mo. - Fans of the Missouri women's basketball team will be able to select their new seats in Paige Sports Arena this weekend, athletic department officials announced today.
With the Tigers moving into the sparkling $75 million facility, season-ticket holders and other fans will get their first opportunity to decide where they would like to sit in the new arena.
Members of the Sixth Stripe Club, the women's basketball booster group, get first crack at picking their seats this Saturday, Oct. 30, from 9-10 a.m. Sixth Stripe members may enter the arena through the main (North) entrance where volunteers will direct them to the seating area.
The women's basketball team will scrimmage from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, during which time other returning season-ticket holders may select their seats.
The process will resume from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, when the general public may order season tickets and select their seats. For more information, contact the Paige Sports Arena Box Office at 884-PAWS (1-800-CAT-PAWS outside Mid-Missouri).
