Melissa Allbery
6-3
MIDDLE BLOCKER
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN
GRETNA, NEB.

Melissa Allbery has been hampered by injuries since arriving at Missouri. She missed last season recovering from a shoulder injury and then a knee injury last spring delayed her comeback. Earlier this season a hand injury landed her in a cast, most likely ending a possible comeback this year. Before coming to MU, Allbery set a school record at Gretna (Neb.) High School for hitting percentage (.461) as a senior. She was named to the Class B All-State First Team and the Super State Second Team in 2002. She earned six Academic All-State honors and was the valedictorian of her class.
