Q: What's different about this season compared to last season?
A: "The difference between this season and last season is hugely attributed to our new coaching staff. I feel that our level of intensity and competition has increased not only in games but also in practices. We're all trying to push each other to the next level."
Q: How do the newcomers fit in with the returning players?
A: "The newcomers fit in great with the team. We all have good chemistry and they possess the skill and capabilities to really make a difference on the field for us."
Q: How do you guys plan to follow up the phenomenal late season run that you had last year?
A: "I feel that our team will follow last season with as much success if not more. I believe we can get a bid back into the NCAA tournament and hopefully make it even further this time."
Q: What are the key things that you guys need to do to make it into the NCAA tournament this year?
A: "To make it into the NCAA tournament this year, I think we should take care of business early on and get wins to prove we deserve a bid. The Big 12 conference is such a good conference and doing well in conference play should assist us in getting a bid."
Q: Since you've had a year under your belt are you better equipped to deal with the pressures of being a student athlete?
A: "Having had a year to adjust to becoming a student-athlete, I think it's coming more naturally to me this year. It's a little easier knowing how to balance my schedule."
Q: What does it feel like when you score a goal?
A: "It's maybe the best feeling in the world to score a goal. I definitely hope to feel it more this year than last!!"
