Columbia, Mo. - The University of Missouri football team will hold its second annual Fan Day on Sunday, August 15th, from 4:00-5:30 p.m., at Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field. Admission is free and gates will open for the event at 4:00 p.m. Tiger fans will have an opportunity to meet Mizzou's players and coaches and get autographs and pictures with them as well. There will be free Coca-Cola and black and gold balloons available for those in attendance, as well as free posters and schedule cards. Truman the Tiger, the Golden Girls and the MU Cheer squad will also be on hand for the event. Plenty of sale merchandise will be on hand at the Tiger Team Store (located on the North Concourse), as well as brand new 2004 merchandise - including the popular Nike Brad Smith jersey. Fans will have the opportunity to walk on the field and to purchase tickets to the upcoming set of home games, which begin on Sept. 4th against Arkansas State.
