For the third year in a row, the doubles tandem of Urska Juric and Katka Sevcikova were named to the All-Big 12 team for doubles. The two were also named All-Big 12 for singles, which is the third singles selection for Juric, and the second for Sevcikova. Every coach in the conference votes on the All Big 12 selections.
Juric entered 2004 ranked No. 24 in the nation and Juric and Sevcikova were ranked as high as No. 9 in the nation for doubles. The Tiger team also registered a season high by ranking as a high as No. 38. The Tigers finished with a winning record of 7-6, coming in 5th in the Big 12 and 14-9 overall. Despite just missing out on their second consecutive NCAA bid, the Tigers had a successful season playing one of the nation's toughest schedules. Fifteen of the Tigers opponents ranked among the nation's top 40 and five of those were top 20.
