COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri track and field team is set to host the 8th annual Tom Botts Invitational this weekend, April 9-10. Notre Dame, Iowa State, and Iowa's women will be the Tigers' guests to the meet honoring Missouri legendary track and field coach, Tom Botts. Events will get started Friday with the decathlon and heptathlon day ones at 1:00 p.m.
Field events will start Friday at 3:00 p.m.; track events will start at 6:15 p.m. On Friday only the steeplechase and 5000-meter runs will be contested. On Saturday, day two of the decathlon will get underway at 9:00 a.m., the heptathlon will start at 9:30, open field events start at 11:00, and track events start at 11:30.
