Missouri Softball Announces 2004 Summer Camp Schedule

2003 Big 12 Coach of the Year Ty Singleton announced Tuesday that registration is now open for the 2004 Missouri Softball Summer Camps. Campers can chose from three clinics including Offense (July 5-6), Defense (July 7-8) and Elite (July 12-15) and are encouraged to Register On-Line.

With Missouri assistant coaches Tom Royder and Barb (Wright) Riti in place as Camp Directors, students between the ages of 12-18 will learn skills including hitting, bunting, short game and baserunning in the two-day Offense Camp, Monday and Tuesday, July 5 and 6. Defensive skills such as throwing and receiving will be discussed and worked on in the Wednesday and Thursday, July 7-8 camps.

Desinged for 14-u and 18-Gold or high school varsity softball players, the Elite Camp runs from Monday, July 12 through Thursday, July 15. Coaches and campers will participate in the high-skill level camp where most participants are Division I college prospects.
