Missouri head coach Quin Snyder:
On the game:
"I thought it was a really good effort by our kids. It was one of those really unconventional games with both teams in foul trouble. We need Travon, we're much better when he's in the game. He gives us another passer. Without him, I thought they were able to get back in the game. I thought we really attacked the basket well late in the game, and got to the line. We really did well on the defensive boards; we wanted them to see our guards get 15 plus rebounds in the game."
On Arthur Johnson:
"He was a little tired at the end. That was a lot of minutes for him, but AJ anchors us offensively. He's doing a better job against the double team. He really rebounded well tonight, and got some tough rebounds. He's playing really good basketball right now."
On Jason Conley:
"He's been productive and makes plays. He's been productive in transition. Jason attacked the rim and the half court, and made the dunk when we were reeling a little bit. That was a big play that he made. For Jason right now, I think he's just loving playing, because he waited a long time to get out there, and that's infectious, also. I also felt that way about Josh tonight. For him to come back tonight and get that huge three point shot in limited minutes, that's what you need from our bench. We need guys coming in excited and energetic, and providing us lifts."
Missouri sophomore guard Jimmy McKinney:
On playing loose in the second half:
"I was just playing well and letting my instincts guide me. I'd get the ball to guys so they could be successful. My whole basis was just to play loose and keep my focus on the game. I just want to play loose for the rest of the season."
On tying his career and season high 21 points :
"I needed this one, I probably needed this more than anyone in the country. It was a big step for me, but it was a bigger step for our team. That's what we needed. We need to build on the steps. It's not about one player, it's a collective effort."
Missouri senior guard Rickey Paulding:
On being a scorer:
"We have a lot of scorers on our team. I just try and do my part to fill in. On any given night, anyone can lead our team in scoring. Jimmy had a great night tonight."
