Missouri could not get any momentum in the match until midway through game three when it scored eight straight points in the midst of a 10-1 run to build an 18-10 lead. The Tigers went on to the win to take the 2-1 lead in the match.
Oklahoma quickly took the momentum away from MU, jumping out to a 13-7 lead and going on to take the 30-20 lead forcing the match to a fifth game. The Tigers then picked up its first win since Oct. 25 with the game five win.
