Mizzou-Kansas State Game to Kickoff at 6 p.m.

Nov. 10, 2003

Columbia, Mo. - The University of Missouri's football game on Nov. 22nd at Kansas State has been selected for a 6 p.m. kickoff and will be televised nationally on Superstation TBS, as announced this morning by the Big 12 Conference.

The K-State game will mark the seventh televised game for Mizzou this season. Mizzou opened the 2003 season on ABC against Illinois (Aug. 30), and followed with appearances on Fox at Kansas (Sept. 27), on TBS against Nebraska (Oct. 11) and again on Fox at Oklahoma (Oct. 18) at home against Texas Tech (Oct. 25) and again this weekend at home against Texas A&M (Nov. 15).

MU is now guaranteed a record eight TV games this season, as the Nov. 29th regular-season finale against Iowa State is already set for an ABC telecast at Noon.

The eight TV appearances has doubled the four appearances MU made last season during 2002, when MU was shown twice each on ABC and Fox. The previous record for TV appearances in one season was seven in 1984.

Tickets remain available for the A&M game, as well as the remaining home contest against Iowa State, and can be purchased by calling 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS locally) or online by visiting www.mutigers.com.
